The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit intervenes on our behalf when our bodies can no longer carry us any further. The Holy Spirit serves as the eternal fire in our hearts that carries us through the valleys of dark times. We attain greatness because as believers in Christ we possess the infinite source of strength that scientists, evolutionists, and agnostics will never taste, feel, and realize. That infinite support ignites from a supernatural relationship with a best friend we each have in Jesus Christ.

Let us pray -

Jesus, we believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue us from sin and death and to restore each man here to the Father. We choose now to turn from our sins, our self-centeredness, and every part of our lives that does not please you. We choose you. We give ourselves to you. We receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your rightful place in our lives as our Savior and Lord. Come reign in our hearts, fill us with your love and your life, and help us to become men who are truly loving and strong—a person like you have blessed us to be. Restore us, Jesus. Live in us. Love and strengthen the world through each man here. Thank you, God. In Our Savior’s name We pray.

Amen Jesus! Amen. Amen.

Scripture -

1 Peter 4:1-6
Since therefore Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves with the same way of thinking, for whoever has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human passions but for the will of God. For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry. With respect to this they are surprised when you do not join them in the same flood of debauchery, and they malign you; but they will give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is why the gospel was preached even to those who are dead, that though judged in the flesh the way people are, they might live in the spirit the way God does.
