9/11

Tuesday, September 11, 2001. There’s no doubt that anyone who was awake on September 11, 2001 remembers very clearly what they were doing, where they were, who they were with, and what they felt when the towers fell. Do you remember? Were you watching television? Were you on your way to work or school? For the thousands of lives lost to the tragedy of 9/11, most of the people were just like you and me – normal, everyday people going to work, making a living, and taking care of their families and business. Many reading this might not have been born yet and they may ask, “What happened?” “Why did it happen?”  As painful as it may be to recount, it’s important to teach each generation that this is a country built upon, “In God We Trust.” And not just as a saying, but as a country that truly trusted a Sovereign God.
