Next

I remember years ago I attended a NEXTEL briefing. This was a young phone company that sold long distance minutes. There was a guy there named Dominic, wearing a nice suit, spoke well, and always smiles kindly. One other descriptive item I noted on Dominic’s apparel was a small button on his lapel. Circular shaped, about 1 inch wide, solid white, with black letters “NEXT.”

I introduced myself to him and asked, “What’s the next button about?”
To my surprise, he told me it’s a prayer. With his kind smile he witnessed to me and shared his prayer that behind every no, every I’ll think on it, every now is not a good time, there’s is a next opportunity to succeed and help someone else do the same.

This is a simple power, belief that God is in charge of your success. You may asked, how to improve your business? How to be successful? Here’s a golden rule to follow, pray the Next Prayer. Trust that God is in charge of your success and will send you abundant blessings. There’s always a Next. Even when success arrives there’s still plentiful opputunities for Next. Helping others achieve success never ends.

I encourage you to never be afraid of failure but rather be boldly and courageously forging forward towards the success our Lord has planned for you.

Let’s pray -

God, I pray to always have goals and dreams according to what You have called me to do. Thank You that when I call unto You, You answer me, and show me great and mighty things, which I know are coming Next!

Amen Jesus! Amen. Amen!

The number three is a powerful and often used number in scripture. When one goes looking for “threes” you can most certainly find them in Christianity. Noah had three sons (Gen. 6:10). Three visitors appeared to Abraham (Genesis 18:2). Jonah was inside the belly of the fish three days and nights (Jonah 1:17). Jesus answered Satan’s threefold temptations with three scriptural references (Matthew 4:1-11). Jesus’ ministry lasted three years. Samuel L. Jackson is Jules Winnfield, a mobster in a tight spot. Jules and his partner Vincent Vega (John Travolta), have just pulled into the home of Jimmie (played by Tarantino himself) with a dead body in the car which they have to dispose of pronto.
