Are You Tired?
We are all God's children, all walks of life, saints, sinners, criminals, non-believers, lesbians, gay, bisexual, transsexual, queer, patriot, non-patriot, and a whole host of others. All of us created and loved equally in the grace of God the Father.
Kelvin Cochran, former U.S. Fire Administrator, and author wrote, "In America, true tolerance should be a two-way street. Foundational to the American Dream is faith and patriotism. If you remove the faith component, it is questionable whether the American Dream can be fulfilled."
Amen! Faith is the answer, and all too often our collective faith is mounted to rusty hinges, or locked behind proprietary doors. Too often our faith is closed off to those that need open doors and access to people of faith willing to invest time in hurting or broken brothers and sisters.
We get confused and jousted by evil ploys to distract us and make us feel angry about what we as people of faith should be energized by. When the evil insights fear, and sadness in the world, people of faith invoke prayer and spiritual warfare. We keep unlocked and open doors so that all can see the light of our faith in times of brokenness and darkness.
Do not judge, do not be impatient, do not walk with your head hung in defeat, instead smile with your head high and pray for all in pain, demonstrating as Jesus did a level of love unsurpassed by any earthly deed.
Brothers, Sisters - More than ever before in our lifetimes we need more spiritual faith.
Let us Pray -
Mighty Everlasting Father, I humbly come before Your throne of grace and mercy, laying down my life before You. I crave You, Lord; You are my everything. You are my heart’s desire.
On behalf of every man here this morning on the prayer line, we yearn to be in Your Holy presence, constantly seeking increased faith, Your will and Your great plans for our lives. Draw us nearer and closer to You daily, as our thirst is quenched by Your springs of living waters.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Only You can satisfy the burning desire in our hearts that cries out Your great name. We command that all doubt be vanished, and the Truth of Your Word overshadow us with eternal enlightenment. There is beauty, Oh Heavenly Father, in the abundant joy, in the unconditional love, in the calming peace and the everlasting happiness You bring to a man's life.
Increase our faith, multiply it magnificently. Give us that strength and power to tear down any strongholds in my way, just as the walls of Jericho came crumbling down with that shout of faith.
Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Amen Jesus! Amen! Amen!
SCRIPTURE
Romans 8:38-39
“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
