LET US READ AND PRAY

"It is a common temptation of Satan to make us give up the reading of the Word and prayer when our enjoyment is gone; as if it were of no use to read the Scriptures when we do not enjoy them, and as if it were no use to pray when we have no spirit of prayer. The truth is that, in order to enjoy the Word, we ought to continue to read it, and the way to obtain a spirit of prayer is to continue praying. The less we read the Word of God, the less we desire to read it, and the less we pray, the less we desire to pray."

So, let us pray

Heavenly Father, we look up to you in this time of change. Allow us to have the courage to change our lives for the better. Allow all our burdens to be risen up to You as we know that You will see us through. Forgive those who have done evil and allow us to do the same. Teach us to love with an open heart and open spirit. Take time for Your men today to help with all our trials You have set out for us and allow us the strength and energy to follow You. Give us the blessings to find a new home with Christ, keeping our families together, and bless those who are away, may they be strong and know how much love is being sent their way. Let them know we are thinking of them and missing them dearly. Bless us with Your love, Your strength, Your wisdom, Your health, Your courage, Your forgiveness, and a willingness to learn Your Word!

In Jesus' name we pray, AMEN! AMEN! AMEN!
