A Prayer for Godly Attitude

Let us pray.

O God our Father we want to celebrate your goodness all day every day. We want to love in You and through You. We want to make it as clear as we can to all we meet that you’re on our side, working with us and through us for the good of all that cross our paths. Help us always to remain vigilant of your return. We know it can be any minute. 

We do not fret or worry. Instead of worry we your men of the morning prayer line, pray each morning. Let our petitions and praises shape our worries into prayers of rejoice, letting our Lord and Savior know we trust Him with our concerns. We know doing this will before we know it give us a sense of God’s wholeness, all of our worries and concerns - everything coming together for good and we will settle down in the knowledge of Your power. Oh our Father it’s wonderful what happens when we place our trust in Your Son and displace worry with faith at the center of our lives. 

We sum it all up by filling our minds and meditating on all things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious - and the best, never the worse; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. We put into practice what you teach us Lord, what you say to us, what we see and realize in You through our faith in You. We have this attitude because God is all good and works through everything to bring all together. We your sons promise to work You into all parts of our lives knowing in faith that the result will be perfect harmony with Your Son our Savior Jesus Christ. 
Amen! Amen! Amen!

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The number three is a powerful and often used number in scripture. When one goes looking for “threes” you can most certainly find them in Christianity. Noah had three sons (Gen. 6:10). Three visitors appeared to Abraham (Genesis 18:2). Jonah was inside the belly of the fish three days and nights (Jonah 1:17). Jesus answered Satan’s threefold temptations with three scriptural references (Matthew 4:1-11). Jesus’ ministry lasted three years. Peter denied Jesus three times (Luke 22:54-62), and three times Jesus affirmed his love (John 21:15-17). Samuel L. Jackson is Jules Winnfield, a mobster in a tight spot. Jules and his partner Vincent Vega (John Travolta), have just pulled into the home of Jimmie (played by Tarantino himself) with a dead body in the car which they have to dispose of pronto. Under pressure from Jimmie to get out of there as fast as possible, Jules calls his mob boss Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames) to apprise him of the situation and plead for backup.
